An EU standard EN 1090 for structural steel and aluminium, all components supplied into Europe will need to conform to this standard and be CE marked.

EN 1090-2: Technical requirements for the execution of steel structures.

ISO 9001:2015 specifies requirements for a quality management system when an organization:

a) needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements, and

b) aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system, including processes for improvement of the system and the assurance of conformity to customer and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.

All the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 are generic and are intended to be applicable to any organization, regardless of its type or size, or the products and services it provides.

The ASME U Stamp is an indication of quality for Pressure Vessels. It ensures that the design, fabrication, inspection, and testing of pressure vessels conform to ASME’s guidelines. ASME U stamp is provided on the body or the nameplates of the pressure vessels as a certification to meet ASME requirements. Globally, more than 100 countries use the ASME BPVC code for the pressure vessel design and U stamped vessels follow the requirements of ASME Sec VIII Div 1. For the maximum protection of life and property, ASME provides rigorous rules for Pressure vessels. In many countries, the government made it compulsory to purchase ASME U stamped vessels.

The S-stamp is for Power Boilers and applies to two types of boilers under Section I of the latest copy of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code. First, it applies to boilers in which steam or other vapor is produced at a pressure greater than 15 psig (100 kPa) external to itself. Second, it applies to high temperature water boilers intended for use with operating pressures greater than 160 psig (1.1 MPa) and/or has temperatures exceeding 250 degrees F (120 degrees C).
